FUNDS will be raised in Ardrossan to help youngster Jackson Waddell at a special darts exhibition match next weekend.
Wulbur Darts Promotions are staging the Pride of Scotland Exhibitions, featuring two-time world champion Gary Anderson, threetime major winner Robert Thorton from Ardrossan and top tour players, John Henderson and Cammy Menzies in Ardrossan Civic Centre next Saturday, December 8, Top young players from across Ayrshire will compete against the four players on the night.
And organisers hope to raise some money for Irvine’s Waddell family on the night.
Promoter Willie Burns said: “Jackson had the operation and he has a walking frame, that has all been paid for. But the family need money for the likes of physio costs.”
Meanwhile this coming Friday, November 30, the Civic Centre will host a hotlyanticipated exhibition match between PDO champion Rob Cross and PDO holder Glen Duzza Durrant. Tickets for the events are available from Wulbur on 07772 615652.
