A man who smashed a glass off his own head while trying to intimidate a woman is to be sentenced next month.
Paul Goody was threatening and abusive towards the woman at his home in Stevenston’s Glencairn Street on September 24.
The 44-year-old acted in an aggressive and intimidating manner towards the woman and repeatedly struck a glass off his head causing the tumbler to smash.
Goody pled guilty to one charge at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
Sentence was deferred for reports until January 4.
Goody was bailed until then.
