JUST before the festive break, the National 5 Computing Science classes at Ardrossan Academy received a presentation from a Booth Welsh employee named Stuart McInnes.
Booth Welsh is a company that provides integrated engineering services. The work that they do is relevant to the Software Design and Development unit in the National 5 Computing Science course.
Stuart delivered a presentation covering the similarities and aspects of the work Booth Welsh provide and compared them to the course work done in class.
The presentation included the use of software design and development in the real world.
Stuart also discussed his education and the pathway he took to get into his current position at Booth Welsh.
The information provided in the presentation was very clear and easy to understand. It was also very useful and the National 5 pupils will take it on board to help them succeed in the Computing Science course.
