THE next meeting of Ayrshire WASPI group will be held in Irvine later this month.
The Women Against State Pension Inequality group will gather in Irvine on Saturday, January 26 at 10.30am in Fullarton Community Hub.
Women who have been fighting the DWP over pensions for the past three years say they were devastated that complaints were suddenly and unilaterally closed just before Christmas.
The group complain that the Department of Work and Pensions has already closed more than three thousand WASPI complaints due to a successful legal action being taken by another campaigning group the Back to 60 group.
