The Kandy Bar in Saltcoats has won best macaroni pie in Scotland at the World Scotch Pie Awards 2019 – but narrowly missed out on the top prize.
The two-times World Scotch Pie Champion scooped two accolades at this year’s awards, including runner-up in the top category.
The Kandy Bar was presented with a Diamond Award for its delicious macaroni pie at the event in Cumbernauld’s Westerwood Hotel today (Tuesday, January 15). Unfortunately, it was pipped to the title of 2019 World Scotch Pie Champion by The Little Bakery of Dumfries.
