The 114th Anniversary Supper of the Rosebery Burns Club was held in the Bridgend Community Centre on Saturday, January 26.

The evening was chaired by President Bill Davy and supported by Vice President Colin Hunter McQueen.

The supper commenced with a warm welcome from President Bill Davy for all members and visitors.

The entertainment began with songs and music by the two Wullies (Gamble and Graham). There were more songs throughout the evening, performed by Gavin Pratt, Past President Jim Gibson, Past President Joe Clifford, Vice President Colin Hunter McQueen and the company.

The readings were provided by Past President Robert Graham, Hon Secretary Jim Thompson, Gavin Pratt, Johnny Mair and Robin Gray.

The Haggis was piped in by the talented Callum Paterson and carried in by Ian Glen .The Address To The Haggis was given by Alex Kelly.

The Toast To The Immortal Memory was performed to a very high standard by Angus Middleton and the Toast To The Lassies was delivered to the same standard by Jim Gibson both who are Past Presidents of The Burns Federation.

The Rosebery on the evening was supported by sister clubs, The Garnock Burns Club, Dalry Burns Club and the Jolly Beggars Burns Club of whom Past President Wullie Edmonds presented Honorary Memberships to three Rosebery members, Johnny Mair, Gavin Pratt and Immediate Past President Malcolm Blair.

The proceedings ended in the usual manner by the company singing Old Lang Syne. All in all, another fantastic evening at the Rosebery Burns Supper.
