Last week saw the launch of a new activity programme at an over 50s project.

The HOPE (Helping Older People Evolve) Project launched its latest programme of events and activities at its base in the CLASP Resource Centre in Stevenston.

Members of the public attended the drop-in event on Friday, February 1. They enjoyed a buffet and refreshments and were able to meet the staff and have a chat about what was on offer.

The HOPE Project has a range of activities available to people over 50. Whether people are looking to gain a new skill, become more active or wish to meet new friends, there is something for everyone.

Activities currently on offer include a lunch club, tap dancing, bingo, tai chi, sign language, Scottish country dancing, digital drop-in and much, much more.

Sessions take place in venues across North Ayrshire.
