Teachers were also complimented on their teamwork and their understanding of the pupils as individuals.
They graded ‘learning, teaching and assessment’ and ‘raising attainment and achievement’ as good in the school.
The nursery was rated as good for “learning, teaching and assessment’ and ‘securing children’s progress.’
Village school Straiton and its nursery class also scored ‘good’ in the same categories as Barassie.
Inspectors described the learning environment
for children as “nurturing and encouraging.”
Kids were also praised
for being motivated and engaged.
Inspectors said the children’s “exemplary behaviour is respectful and caring of adults and each other”.
