Young and old turned out for a daffodil tea hosted by West Kilbride BBs.
The annual event, which took place on Sunday, March 2, raised £380. The money will go towards a PGL adventure weekend trip.
Kirsty Davis, one of the parents who helped organise the event, said: “It was our best year yet. Everyone was over the moon with the attendance. Everyone really complimented the boys and their excellent table service. It was nice to see them in their uniforms.
“Our scones got a lot of compliments. They were made by the two volunteers – two of the mums. They made 90 scones between them.
“We had tons of home baking, some of the BBs and Anchor Boys made them themselves.
“It was attended by a lot of elderly residents of the village, but the mums and toddlers came as well. There was also the Anchor Boys, BBs and Company, so it was every single generation that came out all together.
“The boys took the money on the door and did the meeting and greeting everyone, helped the mums serve the coffee and the juice. They worked really hard.”
