A STEVENSTON man has admitted stalking a woman over a period of 10 years.

Craig Maclean, 36, of New Street, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court where he pled guilty to four charges involving three women going back to 2007.

Maclean admitted, that between 2007 and 2017, in Largs he wolf whistled, stared, breathed on and filmed or photographed a woman without consent.

He also admitted that in 2012 he repeatedly called a woman’s name, persistently follow her and went to her home uninvited.

And between March 2015 and March 2016, he sent sexual written communications to a woman without her consent.

Maclean was placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register and bailed pending sentence next month.
