POLICE arrested a man during a raid in Ardrossan following the alleged discovery of Class A and B drugs.
It was part of a a North Ayrshire-wide crackdown on drug dealing with officers executing two search warrants on the same day.
The Glasgow Street raid saw police force entry and arrest a 26-year-old man. The second raid saw more than a kilo of alleged Class A drugs recovered from an Irvine house.
Officers from the Ayrshire Proactive Policing Team stormed the property in Sloan Avenue on Friday, March 8 and discovered a “significant quantity” of Class A and Class B drugs.
A 31-year-old man who was found within the property was cautioned and charged with alleged drugs possession and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
A police spokesperson said: “We are committed to tackling issues of local concern and work with communities to reduce the harmful impact of drugs misuse.
“We will target those involved in the sale, supply and production and I would urge anyone who has concerns about drugs in their area to contact us.”
