AS part of Scottish Modern Apprenticeship Week, North Ayrshire Council rewarded the winners of their ‘Outstanding Modern Apprentice’ competition for their hard-work.
This year, each of the Executive Director’s were asked to nominate someone who is an ‘Outstanding Team Member’.
The six winners: Gabriel Teyhan, Graeme Palmer, Mitchell Fox, Robbie McNaught, David Dunlop and Elise Hastie were presented with a certificate and a gift voucher from Chief Executive Craig Hatton.
All of the winners started with the council in August 2018 after successfully completing their Pre-Employment Apprenticeship Training.
At the awards ceremony, Councillor Alex Gallagher, Cabinet Member for Economy, spoke about the council’s commitment to the Modern Apprenticeship Programme, he said: “I’d like to congratulate our winners and take this opportunity to wish all our Modern Apprentices every success in their apprenticeship and future careers.”
