STARS of North Ayrshire Health and Social Care were awarded at the third annual Breakfast for Champions recently.
The ceremony, at Irvine’s Volunteer Rooms, celebrated front line staff and partnership working, with nominees coming from North Ayrshire Council, NHS Ayrshire and Arran, and from third/ independent sector organisations who provide community-based health and social care services in the area.
A surprise performance from The Infinity Choir got proceedings under way in the morning, and a tasty breakfast brunch served up by Café Solace was enjoyed by all.
With 10 awards up for grabs, the winners were as follows:
Partnership champions – Ardrossan Social Work Team
Innovative team – Crisis Resolution Team
Administration stars – Healthy You! Team
Volunteer champions (in health and social care) – NAHSCP Volunteers
No. 1 volunteer – Maurice Craig and Yvette Robertson
Partnership champion – Isabel Marr
Inspirational leader – Mairi Gribben
Administration star – Michelle Doherty
Everyday hero – Stephanie Munro and Joanne Jamieson
