Pupils and staff at Corsehill Primary School and Early Years Class held a farewell service for their head teacher, Mrs Wendy Rose.

Wendy has been with the Kilwinning school for five years and is leaving to take on the role of head teacher at the new Additional Support Needs school in Stevenston.

Gregor Kirk, teacher at Corsehill Primary, said: “Mrs Rose is leaving a legacy of excellence in Corsehill, having received one of the best HMIE reports in Scotland.

“All of the Corsehill community will be very sad to see her go but are incredibly proud of the difference she has made and the positive impact she will have on her new school.”

Good luck in the future, Wendy, from all at the Herald.
