ARDROSSAN Indoor Bowling Club was presented with a new and potentially lifesaving defibrillator last week.
Kirsty Millar and Scott Wallace were on hand to pass it over from charity CRY UK who hold screenings across the country for younger people to ensure they have a healthy heart.
The pair raised money in North Ayrshire and have been doing so for a number of years.
Club President Willie Gilmour and other committee members welcomed Scott and Kirsty to the club last Wednesday and the new defib will be situated within the rink office.
All staff in the club are now trained to use it and there will be a chance for members to get involved too later in the year.
Kelly who works within the catering team at Ardrossan Indoor suggested getting the charity involved and now the defib is available for all.
