DALRY youngsters had a great time on a fairy hunt in Lynn Glen recently.

And the guardians of the Lynn Glen would like to say a big thank you for making the Easter event on April 13 a fairy fantastic day.

The BBQ by the Dalry 55th scouts went down a treat with burgers from Stalkers and buns from Irvine’s.

The organisers would like to thank the sports hub for the marquee tables and BBQ and thanks to first responder Jordan for first aid cover.

The wild flower seeds were scattered round the fairy trail thanks to Dalry COOP for the seeds.

The children had a fantastic time colouring eggs then rolling them, hunting for tickets around the fairy trail then swapping them for treats.

Thanks to Farran road bridge representatives Angela and Monica for games and activities which involved more treats.

The tombola was popular raising money for the fairies to continue their events in the Lynn Glen.

The Scouts also had a camp fire and activities and the organisers said it was lovely to see community groups working together.

The committee is in urgent need of helpers to continue, either organising, or attending events, along with developing the fairy trail.

And a big thank you to the Fairy Guardians for their hard work and enthusiasm.
