LOCAL communities across North Ayrshire are being given the chance to influence how some of the money allocated to the ground maintenance budget is spent in their area through participatory budgeting.
Following a successful pilot with the Open Space Grounds Maintenance Budget in the Three Towns locality, North Ayrshire Council, has approved the rollout of the initiative to the five remaining localities including Irvine, Kilwinning and the Garnock Valley.
Voting is open until May 24, and can be completed online or by visiting a library where you can fill out a feedback card.
