ARRAN’S Brodick Castle has opened its doors, following several years of improvements and major fire safety upgrades from the National Trust for Scotland.

The castle, which has been closed since November 2016, has been re-presented and protected to create a more interactive and entertaining historical visitor experience.

The National Trust for Scotland’s Jared Bowers, said: “We’ve brought an interactivity to the castle’s exhibits with special lighting and soundscapes to make each room feel alive. We want each visitor to step into the shoes of the people who used to live in the castle.”
