HM Coastguard are recruiting for volunteer coastguard rescue officers on Arran.
This is an excellent opportunity for young people (minimum 18 years old) to learn new skills and gain transferrable experience necessary for the workplace.
No experience is necessary, just bring a can-do attitude.
Successful applicants will be trained in lost and missing person search, casualty care, various technical rescue techniques and much more.
Although this is a volunteer role, you can claim an amount for training and some station routines.
You must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to pass a basic medical. For more information contact: area17@mcga.gov.uk
