It’s nearly that time of year again for the annual It’s a Knockout event in support of Marion’s Still Smiling.

It’s a Knockout, now in its fifth year, is held in memory of Marion Callaghan from Saltcoats, who passed away in 2014.

The charity set up in her honour raises money to give terminally ill cancer patients the opportunity to go on short holidays and mini breaks.

A total of 14 teams are set to compete among soapy bubbles on the giant inflatable obstacle courses. And last year’s winners, Doc’s Dream Team from Kilmarnock, are hoping to defend their crown.

As well as the main event, there will also be the Kidz Zone, where children can play on inflatables all day for £10. Other entertainments include face painting and food stalls.

It’s a Knockout is on Saturday, June 15 at Ardrossan Accies Rugby Club.
