Human remains found in forest confirmed as missing Emma Faulds
Police have confirmed human remains found in a forest this week belong to missing woman Emma Faulds.
Officers have confirmed the worst after human remains were discovered in their search of the Galloway Forest on Wednesday.
A spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can now confirm that the human remains which were discovered in the Galloway Forest area on Wednesday, June 12, are that of Emma Faulds.
"Emma's family have been made aware and specialist officers are continuing to provide support to her family."
