A FOOTBALL team from the Three Towns was celebrating this week after being presented with their league trophy at Scotland’s national stadium.

Cunninghame Youth 2005s team have been together for around eight years and this year they managed to win the Paisley Johnstone & District Youth Football League Division 4 this season.

They played 26 games, won 25 and lost just one game all season.

The side is run by Stephen Dorrans as the head coach.

He is ably assisted by James Maxwell and Scott Havlin and the team are now ready to go again for next season and the challenge that Division 3 will give them.

And the Cunninghame team are kept in tip top shape thanks to sponsors Maximum Potential in Ardrossan.

John Welsh from Max Pot not only sponsors the team but also puts them through their paces during the off season and keeps them fit.

Well done Cunninghame Youth 2005s from all at the Herald.
