More than £26,000 has been raised for the Ayrshire Hospice after a group of fundraisers completed the Glasgow Kiltwalk which smashed the charity’s fundraising target for 2019.
Some of the walkers attended an event in the grounds of the hospice after the walk to celebrate the achievement.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “We are so proud of our amazing supporters and the Kiltwalk Glasgow is a great example of our walkers going the extra mile.”
There’s still time to sign up to the Edinburgh or Dundee Kiltwalks which take place later this year.
