Almost 100 visitors celebrated 50 years of learning through play at Catrine Early Childhood Centre.
The centre’s open-door event saw members of the public, and former and current staff members, students and pupils attending.
Mrs Govans, headteacher, said: “What an excellent turnout we had for our ECC 50th celebrations.
“Everyone loved looking through the hundreds of photos and displays and enjoyed visiting our playrooms to see what our ECC children were learning.
“Thanks to Catrine ECC staff and Catrine PS Heritage Committee, pupils and staff for organising the displays, to Mrs Bunting, former ECC headteacher, for sharing her memories, and to the members of Catrine community who came along to celebrate 50 years of excellence with us.”
