KILWINNING Scouts’ annual presentation evening took place last week where members were presented with the badges they had earned during the year.
Fifteen members received their moving on award for progressing from the cub scout to the scout section.
Donald Reid presented eight members with their bronze zodiac award, 13 with their silver and one member, Ryan Comrie with his gold zodiac award which involved camping at least once for 25 out of the last 30 months.
Certificates were presented to the three Explorer teams who had finished 18th, 5th and 4th in a field of 38 in the recent Kilbride Hike run by the BBs.
The District Commissioner, Jackie Tulloch, presented David Shearer, Euan Comrie, Kian McLaughlin, Fraser Chisholm and Dylan Weir with their bronze D of E certificates.
In the Scout section Luca Richards was presented with the Gold Chief Award, the highest award in the section.
