HISTORY is being made with the introduction of a new summer musical event in Troon.

Live@Troon for the very first time is bringing Scotland’s very first Under-18’s Music Festival to South Ayrshire over the weekend of August 16 until August 18.

It’s the only time a Music Festival played for the under 18’s market has taken place, where all the performers are also under the age of 18.

Thirty-one acts or bands will play the festival over three days, including this year’s Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Kerr James and the highly anticipated Connor Fife and Robin Ashcroft (aka the Viral Train Weans).

An impromptu jam on a train from Edinburgh to Glasgow between Connor Fyfe and Robin Ashcroft wracked up over 100k views on Facebook......the duo have taken the Glasgow music circuit by storm.

Solo artists in their own right booked to play numerous festivals and regularly gigging in King Tuts, The Classic Grand and The Amethyst.

Also gracing the stage will be upcoming talented musician Mya Brown who’s already been shortlisted out of thousands of acts and is now one of the 16 finalists who are in with a chance to play The Queen Tuts Stage at TRNSMT this year.

Sunday Headliners Dogtooth return to Troon having already played the Main Weekend in September and also previously supporting From the Jam.

Dogtooth formed back in 2013 and like most young bands they started playing covers, playing well over 300 gigs around the UK.

Now they are writing and recording their own material.

Day tickets for each day are just £7 and available via www.liveattroon.com

Under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult.
