THE Cunninghame WASPI group met with 1950s born women at Ormidale Pavilion on Saturday, June 29.

Patricia Gibson, MP for North Ayrshire and Arran was the guest speaker at the event as she highlighted alleged UK government attacks on the older generation.

A spokesperson for the group said: “This includes the WASPI women issue of being robbed of up to six years of their state pension, pension credit changes and the over 70s TV licence which is to be linked to pension credit.”

The WASPI group is waiting a decision from the judicial review covering the case.
