THE North Ayrshire Council active travel centre was officially opened last week.
The Trinity Active Travel Hub was opened by Lee Craigie, the Active Nation Commissioner for Scotland, at its location in the former Trinity Church at Bridgegate.
The hub will provide advice on local travel routes to help encourage residents in the area to walk more or get on their bike to cycle.
The overall project cost £476,000, with this financial support coming from European Regional Development Funds.
