Ardrossan man appears in court charged with assault and robbery
AN Ardrossan man has appeared in court charged with assault and robbery following an incident in Saltcoats.
John Ferguson, 51, from Ardrossan, made a short appearance yesterday at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court where he made no plea to the charges against him, following the alleged incident at the Braes, Saltcoats on Friday, July 12.
He was committed for further examination and he was remanded in custody.
He will appear again at court next week.
