A six-year-old toy tester was invited to film his latest review at Garnock Valley Boxing Club.

Tristan Marshall is sent toys by companies and reviews them for his blog, Tristan’s Adventures.

The six-year-old, who lives in Kirkintilloch but has family in Kilbirnie, was filming his review for a WWE wrestling figurine which has recently been launched.

Tristan’s role as a toy tester came about after a video of him as an infant at a baby sensory class went viral and he attracted the attention of PR companies.

The visit to the boxing gym was organised by Tristan’s granddad, Thomas Burns, who has been involved in sport in the Garnock Valley for years.

Mum Pamela said: “He loves it, he’s in his element. Most kids do their reviews with a white background, but Tristan likes to show the toys in reality.

“I said to my dad if he knew anyone who owned a boxing ring and he said his friends Thomas and Janie Payne.

“They were happy to let us in there and they were really lovely. They kind enough to allow us full access to their facilities. Tristan absolutely loved it. We got him a wee wrestling costume and left his hair long so he really looked the part.

“We filmed him opening up the box they sent him.”

“We operate a YouTube channel for Tristan and he works for various PR companies reviewing kids gadgets and toys.”

Thomas said: “Tam Payne and his wife Janie invited Tristan along to use the boxing club ring to let my daughter Pamela take photos and do his blog.

“Tristan was over the moon, loving the actual boxing ring and punch bags.

“Thanks for all the help both Tam and Janie Payne provided for my grandson Tristan.”
