A MAN is currently being treated in hospital after being found injured outside a Stevenston pub.
Last night (Friday, July 26) police and ambulance services were called to reports of a man injured outside of the Station Bar in the town.
Following enquiries by officers, a 28-year-old man was arrested in connection with an alleged housbreaking in Stevenston.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Around 7.40pm on Friday, July 27, a 28-year-old man was found injured outside the Station Bar, Stevenston.
"He was taken by ambulance to Crosshouse Hospital where he is currently being treated for his injuries.
"Following police enquiries, a 28-year-old man was arrested for alleged housebreaking."
