Man in hospital after assault in early hours
A man was taken to hospital after being found injured in Kilwinning in the early hours of Saturday morning.
He is understood to have been attacked at around 1am in Lauchlan Way before being found injured at around 3am on Saturday, August 3.
He was taken to Crosshouse Hospital and understood to be undergoing surgery for his injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A man was found injured in Lauchlan Way at around 3.10am where he was taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment.
"Inquiries are continuing"
