Has a council employee made a positive difference in your life? Then why not nominate them for the North Ayrshire Achieves Customer Excellence Award?

Now in its eighth year, North Ayrshire Achieves is an employee recognition programme which asks residents to nominate a member of North Ayrshire Council staff who deserves to be honoured for their excellent service.

Chief Executive Craig Hatton said: “Our staff work hard to deliver outstanding services to the people of North Ayrshire, and in the past these nominations have served to highlight many great examples of this which might have otherwise gone unnoticed.

“We want to continue to applaud our excellent staff and give recognition where it is due, and we now ask the people of North Ayrshire to please help us to do this.”

Lisa Owen was awarded the Customer Service Excellence award in 2018 after being nominated for her outstanding work.

Described as hard-working and dedicated, Lisa was commended for consistently going the extra mile to make a difference in her role with the Ayrshire Area Support team, where she helps to ensure the Children’s Panel functions smoothly across North, South and East Ayrshire.

Nominations open on Thursday, August 1, and you can nominate online here or by picking up a form from the Customer Service Centre in Bridgegate House, Saltcoats Town Hall, or one of the council’s other offices, schools or libraries.

Closing date is noon on Monday, September 2, and the winner will be announced in November.
