SHOPPERS were left scratching their heads when bollards appeared blocking disabled parking spaces at Tesco in Saltcoats.
The parking spots near the door became unusable last week because the ground where they sit on has become unsafe and it was deemed a risk to customers, the Herald understands.
The supermarket giant is now looking at where disabled spaces could be best utilised within the Tesco Metro car park in the town with customers with a blue badge being asked to use parent and child bays until the issue is resolved.
