KILWINNING'S Picnic in the Park is back for year three on Thursday, August 8

The event in McGavin Park will have try it sessions, stalls, free face painting and free kids entertainment including Uncle Billy and Fabulous Fraser. KA Leisure, Network Rail and British Transport Police will also have stalls there.

Everyone is welcome and it’s free entry. Bring a picnic or dine on site.

There’s loads of stuff to do if kids want on rides and inflatables with a fixed price ride all day wristband.

The wrist band deal offers fun on Twister, FunHouse, Miami, climbing wall, bungees, three kids rides, giant slide, giant assault course and eight other inflatables to suit a mix of ages.

You can buy your bands now at £8 plus booking fee through Total Tickets Ltd.

The stage timings so far are as follows:

1pm Stage goes live with a rundown of the days activities.

1.05pm Sophie Ramsay all the way from Loch Lomond

1.25pm Chairman of Kilwinning Community Events Donald Reid welcomes the Segdoune Royals and local MSYP visitors to the stage.

1.30pm Sasha Kaloheris Music returns to the Picnic Stage with her acoustic set,

2pm Pammi Quinn music – featuring the well known local singers

2.35 Cranberry Moss Singing group. Led by Pammi Quinn

3pm Sinead McCourt – Indie Rock singer

3.15pm Daniel Mackin Music – Singer from Dreghorn with lots of talent.

3.45pm Robyn Ward music – returns to sing in McGavin Park.

4.30pm Allstar Cheer and Dance Academy.

5.30 to close
