The sun shone on Stevenston as families turned out for the 2019 Ardeer Gala.
Members of the community enjoyed a range of entertainments at this year’s event at Ardeer Community Centre on Saturday, August 3.
Midday saw the crowning of the Gala Queen, Emily Frew. Joining Emily in the Royal Party were Princesses Katie Frew and Taylor Smith and Page Boy, Kieran Brodie.
With attractions including Animal Man’s Zoo, kids’ crafts, stalls, refreshments and more, everyone had a fantastic time.
Organisers wish to thank the Gala Party of 2019 (Emily Frew, Taylor Smith, Katie Frew and Kieran Brodie), Christina Smith (treasurer), Debbie Marshall for getting all the donations in and the funding grant, kitchen staff, Gail Smith, Angela Mcglone, Liz Smith, Linda Robertson, Lisa McDade, Wullie, Beth for all her tidying up, Jessie Harvey, Lynne Murdoch, caretakers, volunteers and helpers on the day, Mandy Smith, Rebecca Marshall, Val Costworth, Gordon Cowan, Liz Winters, the bar, Mark Pickering, Alanna Farrell, FB Piper McKenzie Fraser, and all the donators.
