Kids sing-along with elderly in day care centre to raise funds for dementia charity
MEARS Belhaven Day Care Centre in Troon along with local children and parents, raised an amazing £710 for Alzheimer’s Scotland last week.
The kids joined the elderly with a special “intergenerational”sponsored sing-along fundraiser held at the day centre.
Local parents and their children spent the day with the older people who attend the centre, singing, dancing and playing instruments.
The day finished up with a buffet lunch which the community café The Haven, next door provided some of their home-baking for the cake sale.
