Saltcoats Library hosted the first Three Towns community open evening.
The purpose of the event was to provide local groups and organisations the opportunity to advertise and promote their activities to residents. It was also a chance for them to recruit new members.
Members of the public headed along to the library on Tuesday, August 27, where they were able to talk to representatives from the different charities and organisations in the area and hear what they have to offer.
Among the groups attending the event were the Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Stevenston Royal British Legion branch, Poppy Scotland, and the Rotary Club of Hunterston.
Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Stevenston Royal British Legion branch chairman, Paul Swainson, said: “There was plenty of visitors throughout the evening resulting in a resounding success all round.”
