It’s almost time for a brand new year at Ayr Writers’ Club.
The Mercure Ayr Hotel hosts the return of this large and popular club on Wednesday, September 11, from 7.15-9.30pm.
Joint Presidents, Chris Palmer and Graeme St Clair, have built a packed programme.
With many visiting guest speakers and practical workshops, the world of writing is widely represented.
Be it talks on scriptwriting, self-publishing, journalism, or the more familiar fiction and non-fiction genres – there will be something to suit all styles. Some weeks offer constructive feedback on members’ works-in-progress and, with quite a few social events held throughout the year, writers are drawn from throughout Ayrshire, and beyond.
Ayr Writers’ Club meets every Wednesday, from September to May.
Visitors and new members will receive a warm welcome. It’s also possible to become an online e-member with access to all of the club’s resources and competitions. More details and the 2019/20 programme, are available at www.ayrwritersclub.co.uk.
