A MARITIME history tour will start at the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine on Saturday, September 28, at 2pm.
Those attending will get an introduction to some of the fascinating vessels and maritime exhibits in the museum and learn about Betsy Miller, the first registered female sea captain who hailed from Saltcoats.
There will also be a visit to the ship workers tenements rooms in 1920s style and the tour will finish with an opportunity to sample Scottish infused rum at the Harbour Lights Inn.
Non-alcoholic west coast ginger wine will also be on offer for those under 18 and those driving.
The tour lasts two hours and participants will have full access to the Maritime Museum before and after, all included in your ticket price.
Tickets cost £20 per adult and £12 per child. To book tickets visit www.totaltickets.org/e/100053/tour or call 07707 873 210.
