NORTH Ayrshire Athletics Club’s seniors had a sterling showing at the weekend at Scotland’s biggest run.

Athletes travelled to Glasgow to take on the 10k and half-marathon on Sunday at the Great Scottish Run with perfect running conditions meaning a lot of PBs being recorded.

Times for the half were: Ian Mcilwraith 1.22.44, Mark Preston 1.27.17, Archie Caldwell 1.32.15, Suzanne Dickson 1.36.39, Stephen Forsyth 1.36.41, Graeme Bone 1.43.34, Neil Kyle 1.44.31, Chrissie McWhirter 1.56.10, Cheryl Gilmour 1.58.01, Lyndsey Renfrew 2.03.41, Anne Cunningham 2.03.54, Mhairi McCandless 2.04.06, Gillian Dunwoodie 2.07.20, Carole Stewart McKinney 2.08.27 and Stephanie Finnigan 2.08.47.

10k results: Fraser Mackie 39.14, Ross Allan 43.44, Paul Fisher 45.36, Scott Wilson 48.00, Lauren Smith 57.54, Kerrie Grier 57.55 and Debbie Grier 1.01.17 and Sharon Gardner registered a three minute PB at Linwood parkrun in a time of 27.00.
