An initiative in Ardrossan is offering free courses to support mental, physical and emotional wellbeing in the community.
North Ayrshire’s Wellbeing and Recovery College is funded by North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership and co-ordinated by of RAMH (Recovery Across Mental Health).
Anyone who lives, works or studies in North Ayrshire and is over 16 years old is welcome to enrol as a student and attend any of the free educational courses of interest.
Among the upcoming courses is African Drumming, which runs for 12-weeks from October 30 in Ardrossan.
There will also be Films for Wellbeing on November 26 where Ardrossan Community Cinema will screen the feature film ‘The Visitor’ at 6.30pm with an after-show discussion on themes raised in the movie.
Pop into the college in the Michael Lynch Centre for Enterprise or contact them on 01294 447355.
