Glencairn Fitness Centre make kind donation to Ayrshire Neonatal Unit
Ayrshire Maternity Unit’s Neonatal Unit (NNU) has received a generous donation from Chris and Jacqui McMahon, on behalf of Glencairn Fitness Centre.
They raised £400 through collections and raffles at recent events.
Chairman of Glencairn Fitness Centre in Stevenston, Bert Payne, has grandchildren who have spent time in the unit and regularly donates to show his appreciation for the care they received.
Caroline Blake, Clinical Midwife Manager Neonatal Services, said: “We’d like to say a huge thanks to Bert, Chris, Jacqui and all of the people at Glencairn Fitness Centre who took part in the collections and raffles. The donation will be greatly appreciated by the families who will benefit from it.”
