Pupils from Glencairn Primary School learned all about tackling food poverty as part of a national campaign.
The P5s took part in Stevenston Library’s Big Brunch during Challenge Poverty Week.
Craig Crosthwaite from North Ayrshire Foodbank and Fiona from the Food Forum gave a presentation to the children.
A spokesperson from North Ayrshire Libraries said: “Great morning at Stevenston Library for our Big Brunch with P5 pupils from Glencairn Primary.
“Thanks to Fiona from the Food Forum and Craig from North Ayrshire Food Bank for coming along and talking to the children about all the work that is going on in North Ayrshire to address poverty and food inequity.”
