More than 1000 people turned up to see classic cars as they cruised in and out of the scenic lochside location at Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park’s Castle Semple Centre, Lochwinnoch.

This year’s Classics at Castle Semple event was blessed with lovely autumn sunshine, fantastic crowds and a record amount of cash raised for charity.

More than 100 vehicles attended the event, organised to raise funds for St Vincent Hospice in Howwood, a charity dear to organiser Jane Fawcett’s heart. This year saw an amazing total raised with over £2200 going directly to hospice services.

Jane said: “What an incredible day we had. It is such a sociable show especially in the sunshine – everyone was grinning and chatting about all he interesting vehicles on display. Car owners are to be thanked for bringing their stunning cars and visitors are equally to be thanked for their generous donations to the charity buckets and the hospice stalls.”
