Dalry Primary pupils and staff had a frightfully fun day last week when they came to school dressed up.
The ‘dress-up day’ took place on Friday, November 1 and was in celebration of Halloween.
All the pupils were asked to bring in an apple so they could take part in the Halloween dookin’ for apples tradition. They also enjoyed a variety of Halloween games and activities.
The pupils and staff pulled out all the stops with their costumes, with various ghosts and ghouls and characters from popular culture.
Among the impressive outfits were the creepy twins from The Shining, Where’s Wally, a pirate, a knight, unicorns, witches, Puss in Boots and more.
Herald photographer Charlie Gilmour braved the scares to capture the event.
