Don’t miss Saltcoats’ spectacular Christmas lights switch on this weekend.

Organisers have lined up another great selection of festive fun for this Sunday, November 24 – and everyone’s invited.

Festivities kick off at 2pm with the big switch on itself happening at 5pm – with the event featuring another spectacular finale featuring Santa Claus.

There will be Santa’s Grotto at Kirkgate church where kids receive a free gift, open from 2pm to 4pm.

The fairground will open from 2pm to 6pm offering unlimited rides for a wristband priced £5.

Christmas variety show on stages at Countess Street and Dockhead Street by the Little and Large events team.

Three Town’s crooner Murray Gee Mac will also singing his latest Brucie the Bear song, with more than 150 line dancers in Dockhead Street at 3pm.

There will also be a mobile cinema in the Saltcoats Masonic Hall from 2pm to 6pm with real reindeer.

The festive fun has been organised by Saltcoats Community Carnival Group.
