Nursery children were presented with hi-vis vests for Road Safety Week.
Specsavers’ Irvine store donated hundreds of high-visibility vests to Loudoun-Montgomery Early Years nursery to help keep them safe during the darker, winter nights.
These were presented in partnership with charity Brake for Road Safety Week which ran from November 18-24.
Gillian Syme, store director at Specsavers Irvine, said: “With the days getting darker, these vests will help make sure children are visible when they are out on the roads.
“We also have plenty more of the hi vis jackets to donate to local groups, so we urge anyone to get in touch and we would be happy to help.”
