A couple are pleading for help to find their missing puppy.
Sarah and Graeme Wilkinson, of Ardrossan, are offering a £1,500 reward for the safe return of their beloved dog, Nala.
The 14-month-old Labrador Spaniel cross went missing at 7pm on Friday, November 29.
The couple's appeal reads: "[Nala] was in Schoolwell Street, Stevenston, North Ayrshire, when some inconsiderate humans let off some very loud fireworks as part of a Christmas lights switch on.
"[She] was terrified and ran as fast as she could up the High Road in Stevenston, towards Saltcoats.
"This is the last confirmed sighting of her and her family and friends continue to search the local area for her.
"If you live locally in North Ayrshire, please check under your car, in your garden hedges, huts etc - a scared dog will hide and she may just be curling up in your garden for safety.
"Help us bring Nala home for Christmas."
Sarah and Graeme had taken their pooch to visit Graeme's 84-year-old gran in Stevenston.
When Nala was taken outside for the toilet, loud fireworks startled her and she ran off.
Graeme tried to chase after her but Nala was too fast.
A Facebook page has been set-up and leaflets distributed but nothing has been heard.
