The town was full of winter wonder at Stevenston’s Christmas lights switch-on.
The streets thronged with crowds enjoying all that was on offer for the festivities.
There were fairground rides, live stage entertainment from Little and Large, a Christmas film screening, Santa’s Grotto, Mrs Claus, reindeer and seasonal stalls.
Kids picked up some special treats on their visits to see Santa Claus and all sorts of delicious fun food and refreshments were available too, including popcorn and candy floss.
A children’s choir delighted their audience and fake snow made it an enchanting evening.
To top it all off, a fireworks display lit up the winter sky.
